According to NdS, a piece of plaster (intonaco di mattone) fell from the north wall and underneath it appeared a part of a red dado with an inscription. Unfortunately the conservation of the inscription was not good, as the wall had been chiselled to give better adhesion to the upper new plaster.
Taking into account the red plaster that was missing, it would read –
